Supashock Suspension-equipped vehicles have qualified first and second for Round 3 of the Australian GT Championship at Eastern Creek this weekend.

After running second-fastest in yesterday’s practice sessions, Kevin Weeks has qualified on pole position in the Supaloc Racing Lamborghini Gallardo GT3, while Greg Crick was second-fastest in his Dodge Viper, also equipped with Supashock Suspension.
It is Weeks’s first pole position in the Australian GT Championship, and a confidence booster ahead of this weekend’s two one-hour GT Championship races. He set a time of 1:30.8, compared to Crick’s 1:31.0 and defending champion David Wall’s 1:31.4 lap time.
The Porsche GT3 Cup S entry shared by Dean Grant / Daniel Gaunt (which won the round at Winton last weekend) has qualified fourth ahead of Tony Quinn’s Aston Martin DBRS9 and the Audi R8 of Mark Eddy, with championship leader Klark Quinn only managing seventh on the grid in his Mosler.

Stay tuned for further updates from Eastern Creek Raceway.
