Stage one of Upper Hermitage - a 7.68km chase against the clock saw the Supaloc pairing finish second to the Burton & Gentleman team in their 1980 Porsche 928.

Stage two's 4.92km dash along Anstey Hill saw the team finish second to the Glenny & Lang pairing by 1.6 seconds. This had the team in third place overall despite finishing both runs in second.

Stage three was a 6.98km run through the twisting roads of Chain of Ponds which again placed the team second by only 3.2 seconds . This elevated Supaloc to second place overall where it remained for the rest of the day.

Stage four saw a return to the 4.78km challenge known as Gumeracha. The blistering pace of the Supaloc Porsche meant the team finished only .8 of a second behind the days pace setters.

Special stage seven was completed in the fastest time by Sims & Sims team piloting the 1989 Nissan Skyline. However, Supaloc was not far behind finishing in second place and gaining back  2.1 seconds from the leader.

Stage eight had the team remaining consistent and finishing second again only 3 seconds behind the leader.

"With changes made to the car throughout the day we have a great package to take forward" commented Kevin. "At this stage we just need to keep the car under us and keep pushing along".
